Panorama

Is that a kind of hat? Sorry, couldn't resist. I have been putting some of my panoramas together in the past month or so. (I have more!) These are some of my favorites. This requires either a very good sense of balance, or a good tripod. Maybe I should try a tripod...
The beautiful, the sublime,the grand,
the one and only Metalak Island!
Pardon my poetic lapse there...
make sure you zoom in on the right hand side, on the beach.
One of the most spectacularly strange sunsets I have ever seen. It was during the end of a thunderstorm. Also at Metalak Island.
Curtis Cove from Losey's front yard... what a sad life they lead (NOT!)Curtis Cove a bit later...
good things come to those who wait.
Panther Pond from the top of Tarkiln Hill
Misty, foggy sunset
Near the intersection of Greenwood Rd and Pleasant Hill Rd
Phang Nha Bay, Krabi, Thailand
Several of these are much wider, and some are a complete circle. I haven't figured out how to import that yet.

cool...especially the Krabi one! Not too many people get that view! :) Can I get the files for my Webshots??

I hadn't considered the concept of uploading to Webshots. I'll have to see if I can. I might have better luck with Photobucket. I could also upload the circle one there, too.

I just had an idea. Let's take your pictures, employ the literary talent on our blog network, and make a devotional book. We could start by playing around with ibook, an apple program (mac people where are you?)Perhaps you know of another publishing program we could use.
What do you think?

Hmmmmmm...
A very intriguing concept. Not being a Mac person, I would tend toward Microsoft publisher, which I have. There's also the Adobe programs, which now also include all the Macromedia programs as well.
Let's talk about this some more. Of course, this is a much greater undertaking than a blog.
However, I have been doing similar things for a number of years, just not books. Booklets, maybe.
This would also eventually require a publisher somewhere.
Very Interesting.

A booklet was more what I had in mind as well.

We could start by selecting a number of the best pictures and then choosing an appropriate theme.

This could be one of those projects that never goes anywhere, but is still quite fun all the same.
